GTSOU reports that VITAGRO ENERGY LLC completed the first pipeline biomethane export to the EU in February 2025. The shipment was 67 thousand cubic metres and tested the producer, GTSOU, gas-distribution and customs interaction chain.
GTSOU later reported 6.4 million cubic metres exported from January through October 2025. The Ministry of Economy subsequently reported more than 11.2 million cubic metres exported by private companies in 2025.
What Is Operationally Readable
GTSOU published producer-specific connection guidance in March 2026. It documents technical conditions and organisational steps for a biomethane facility seeking connection to the gas-transmission system.
This supports an operating export and connection layer. It does not validate any unreviewed facility's capacity, commercial terms or export readiness.

- Site-specific injection and cross-border transport capacity.
- Certification recognition and the required technical data layer for the intended market.
- Buyer, offtake, pricing and revenue evidence.
